今回は、モルディブの南アリ環礁にある　Vilamendhoo Island　という名のリゾート島に行ってきました。 東京からシンガポール経由で鹿児島から丸１日がかりの長旅です。

縦900ｍ、幅150ｍというモルディブの中では比較的大きな島で、ぐるりと綺麗なサンゴ礁に囲まれていました。
島の東側のビーチが、西側よりやや綺麗でサンゴも豊富でしたがインド洋特有の強い東風のため、海を楽しめたのは 写真の西側のビーチでした。
僕たちは島の南側の浅瀬（ラグーン）に立つ水上コテージに滞在しました。幅100ｍの浅瀬が南側に1000ｍくらい続いていて その上に30個の真新しいコテージが並んでいます。

This time we visited the Vilamendhoo Island & Spa at Ari Atoll in Maldives.It takes almost 1 day trip to there via Singapore from Tokyo.
The Island is 900 m and 150 m large and surrounding by beautiful coral reefs.
East side beach is more beautiful than west side one but west side beach is more cozy cause of strong east Indy wind.
We were staying one of the 30 Water Villas located south of the island built on the blue lagoon.
It was cozy with wide space and a Jacuzzi.
